I like to talk…a lot. When I was a kid I talked too much, so my teachers moved me to the back of the class with my very own little desk, in hopes of keeping me quiet. But I just sat there in “elementary-school-solitary” and shouted out to my classmates. Needless to say, I wasn’t their favorite student. Oops. (Sorry, Ms. Fountain!)

A while back, it was pointed out to me (like I didn’t know already) that I talk with my hands. I talk so frequently with my hands that I might as well be Italian…yeesh. This informant asked me if I could talk without the use of my hands, so I sat on them. And you wouldn’t believe it, but I couldn’t talk. It’s as if my hands contain a mute button. If only my grade-school teachers knew that all it took for me to be quiet was to sit on my hands. Ha!

Patience is not a virtue I thrive at. I have a hard time waiting for things, especially when I’m in a hurry. My patience was put to the test this weekend when we went to our county fair. There I was pushing my double stroller along wanting to run over all the slow-pokes and meanderers. Why do people insist on walking so slowly?! In other news, I really love my new InStep Double Jogging Stroller because it passes all of those slow walkers up with the gracefulness of a slalom skier.

Last week, the hubby and I started watching “The Tudors” on Netflix. I love history (like “thought-about-majoring-in-it-love”), but I am not the hugest fan of sixteenth century England. There is too much blood, gore and super confusing relationships/politics going on. It made me have a genius thought. What if there was “Pop Up Video” for confusing TV shows? Remember “Pop Up Video” where random facts about a band and their song came up during the showing of the music video? Well, this would be like that, but as you watched your TV show, facts that explained things like “King Henry VIII desired to have a son to be his heir” or “Henry’s wife Catherine was previously married to his older brother Arthur”. I believe this would make the show so much more enjoyable and save me from spending hours combing through facts on Wikipedia.
