Happy Halloween!

photo (4)

It’s “super hero” day at our school, so I thought I’d go all out. Sorry the picture is a little blurry. It was taken with my phone by a 4-year-old. We have the best resources ’round here. 😉

Have a fabulous day today!! Don’t care about what people think of you and get out there with your wild, creative and awesome costumes!

Happy Halloween!

Hard to believe that Halloween is tomorrow. We are going to a costume party on Friday and I have not been able to decide what to wear. I just remembered how everyone is always saying my husband looks exactly like Flynn Rider from Tangled and I just happen to have a blond, floor-length wig, so I’m gonna try to throw something together last minute. Honestly, the hardest part will be convincing my husband to put on a costume. I’ll post pictures if I’m successful. Wish me luck!

I just finished the third book in the Divergent series and it was amazing. It took me three days, although I’m pretty sure I could have finished it in a day if I didn’t have two little people to take care of…dang grown up responsibilities always getting in the way. If you haven’t checked this series out and love post-apocalyptic, young adult novels, then this will be right up your alley. And I’m a big fan of Hunger Games if that gives you any idea of my usual book preference, although I think Divergent is as good as HG, just a different feel. Got any other book suggestions for me? I’m looking for my next read.
