I have a crazy good memory, especially when it comes to people. Unfortunately I also have one of those faces that people just don’t seem to remember. So the situation that happens all the time is I approach person I met say five years ago and remember precise details about our conversation and they look at me like “Who the heck are you, stalker?!” Example: I run into girl I went to high school with and say, “Oh, hi Laurie! Remember me? Rena? We were in 9th grade English together in Mr. Taylor’s class and you sat in the front and you always wore that red sweatshirt?” Laurie looks at me with giant eyes and says, “You say your name is Rena?” Oy. I really need to remember to reign in my crazy.

The answer to the above riddle is ME. I have the worst habit of looking down at my arms and legs and finding the biggest, fattest bruises or I realize that I have a cut and am bleeding. The worst part is that I usually have no idea where said bruise or cut came from. I am crazy klutzy and run into things all the time (like “Who the heck put that wall there??! Rude!). Also, now that I have two rambunctious boys, they have a tendency to run full speed into me and cause my bodily injuries. I should start making up crazy stories for my bruises to make myself more interesting, like “I saw an old lady getting mobbed and jumped in to help get her purse back and successfully scared away her attacker.” Totally believable, right? Ha! Didn’t think so either.
