Happy Birthday, Bloggy Blog Giveaway!

It’s been one year since I started doing Fashion Friday.

It’s crazy to me that a year has gone by already. That it’s been a year since I decided to actually use my photography blog (which has now been co-opted by some Polish hackers…grrrr) since it was being paid for and not used. I was already taking pictures of my outfits, so I figured I would share it with the little corner of the internet that cared to stop by.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would be posting at least three times a week and that I would have as many followers as I do.

My beautiful friend Myste has an magical way with a crochet hook and yarn and makes the cutest/coolest little items. Both of my boys are lucky enough to have a blanket from her.

She sent me this headband and I am in love. It’s crazy how just covering your ears can keep you so warm.

To help me celebrate, Myste has generously agreed to a giveaway. One lucky winner will win a $10 credit to her etsy shop, French Fabrications.

  2. I would have to say the progress and achievements in my workouts. I was recently sick, so I’ve lost some of it, but I was able to use 10 pound weights for my gym-style workouts; and I can do over 10 push ups in a row. I used to have to take a break at four! Yay me!

  3. So I would have to say my greatest accomplishment so far this year is I started running! And seriously trying to work on my appearance. It’s so easy to roll out of bed throw on clothes and then spend the morning getting the kids ready. I would always get to work and feel ugh about my outfit. But now I’m actually trying to accessorize and put outfits together. And I must say its so nice finally starting to feel good about myself again.

  7. This year my biggest accomplishment has been staying off gluten to make myself healthier! It’s been insanely hard but I am finally not sick & in pain all the time! ( there’s the occasional cheat every couple months but that doesn’t really count right?) πŸ˜‰

  9. Hmmm… Proudest accomplishment, that’s a tough one. I guess it’s been the same one for the last couple of years and that’s growing our business and trying to improve our work each year πŸ™‚

  10. Proudest accomplishment- braving the unknown. Being calm, prayerful, and patient through our family struggles and trusting in God through all of the injustice with my work and knowing He would see us through it all. He has indeed been faithful and has provided more than I could have ever asked for πŸ˜‰

Hi Rena! I think my biggest accomplishment this year, by God’s grace has been asking for help. Sounds silly, but it’s always been hard for me. It has been such a blessing to our family to be on the receiving help of the body of Christ and our families.

  12. Proudest Accomplishment–Truly listening to God and following HIS will for my life. I am not very good at it and almost missed the signs to stay home with my kiddos. As always the Lord provides what you need and for the first time in my life and marriage I am 100% in tune with Him.

My greatest accomplishment this year was being obedient to do something I was terrified by: write a children’s book and get it published. It’s not the publishing that I most proud of though…it is the fact that followed my calling despite my paralyzing doubts and fears that I consider my greatest accomplishment.
