Well, my friends, I am in the home stretch. The light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. I have FIVE days until my due date (May 24th) and I am trying to be calm about it. For some reason, I’ve been a bag of nerves about this delivery, which makes absolutely no sense since I’ve had two perfectly normal, fairly quick labors already. If you are the praying kind, I desire your prayers for me as I deal with these anxieties and as our family is going to be a whole person larger in (most likely) less than a week. Can’t wait to post some baby pics up for y’all!

Romantic Awkwardness

I am not usually a fan of reality tv, but I can’t help myself when it comes to The Bachelorette. It’s simultaneously awkward and amazing. It has also helped confirm that I really don’t like when people sing or read poetry as a romantic gesture. I feel so awkward watching the person pour their heart out in spoken word. Maybe it’s a good thing my husband is pragmatic in his love toward me, so I don’t have to pretend to love it while I’m squirming inside and wanting to run away. Speaking of The Bachelorette and despite my dislike of poetry, I am Team Chris all the way.

Making Pajama Pants Trendy

court 1My friend Courtney has her own style. And let me tell you…she rocks it! She showed up to my house in this outfit and I am amazed. There is no chance I would ever even think about wearing pants like that, but she did and she made them work. In fact, she confessed to me that she wanted to wear pajama pants and these seemed like a classier alternative (Note: These are REAL pants, NOT pajama pants). So the moral of the day is:

“If you want to wear something, just DO IT and WEAR IT WITH CONFIDENCE!”

Although it does help that she has this adorable, tiny little body. 😉
