We have a sweet little Miniature Schnauzer named Ollie (It used to be Oliver, but we switched it to Olive when we found out “he” was actually a girl…but that’s a story for another day…). Now, she is a very good dog, but I am seriously thinking of getting a restraining order from her. She follows me around the house like she can’t get enough of me. She has a bottomless pit for attention, which we give her, but apparently it’s not enough. So if you’re near my house, please feel free to stop by and spend some time with my dog ’cause she’s driving me NUTS!

So I was looking through Seventeen Magazine the other day (Don’t judge me…) and I noticed these trends:

Butterfly clips in cornrows

Scrunchies

Cropped tops

Overalls

What year is it again?! 1997?! Because I’m pretty sure I could have kept all my AWKWARD clothes from high school and gifted them to one very excited teenage girl. Yikes. How am I old enough to have seen trends come around again? And WHY are they trendy again?! Scrunchies?! Really!?

Wowza! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?! If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen that I’ve just been hanging out with my boys, doing tons of swimming, beach trips and regular laziness. So it’s no surprise that I can’t get myself to sit in front of the computer and write a post, despite the fact that I’ve had pictures of cute outfits just stacking up on my camera. Because summer or not, nothing is gonna hold me back from wearing fun clothes. 😉
