Things That Suck:

1. Finishing a conversation with someone important (job interview, potential client, cute guy), then looking in the mirror and realizing you have some colossal-sized funkiness stuck in your teeth.

2. Turning the car on and hearing a few bars of your favorite song that you’ve been dying to hear on the radio, only to have the song end three seconds later.

3. Opening your washing machine to find clothes that have been in there for a couple days and now reek of mold and staleness.

4. Returning to your car after a full day and realizing that you left the lights on and your battery is now dead.

Sadly all of these things have happened to me at one time or another, so I’m crossing my fingers that none of you have to experience anything on this list this week…or ever.

Happy Tuesday!

I just recently found out that my cousin founded a BBQ club at his high school. And so followed the thoughts in my pretty little head…First, I am extremely proud of the initiative and leadership Brian took to take his hobby and turn it into a full-blown club. Second, YOU CAN START CLUBS IN HIGH SCHOOL?!! How did I not know this? I want to go back now and do it all over again. I would totally start a “hammock club”. I would have car washes to raise money to purchase hammocks and have them placed all over the school, so kids could take breaks and gaze at the sky in their very own hammock. Life is just better when you lay in a hammock. You’re able to breath, be still and gather your thoughts. Exactly what every high schooler needs, right?

This video is seriously the funniest SNL skit I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve watched it about five times and laugh every time, so I knew it was worth sharing. Melissa McCarthy is a comic genius, like a female Chris Farley. She’s come such a long way since Gilmore Girls.

Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday!

You’re welcome in advance for the giggles.
