I rarely pay attention to the ads on Facebook, but just recently one caught my eye. It was for a site called Gwynnie Bee and it is basically the Netflix of clothing. You fill up your virtual “closet” with items (sized 10-32) and they send them to you for you to wear and style to your heart’s content. When you are done with the item, you put it in the pre-paid bag they send you and return it. You can try one month for free, which is totally awesome because who doesn’t like free?! These pants were the first item that I received. I love them because they are a style that I’ve been wanting to try out, but would never buy. My husband was not a fan, but I’m glad I got to have fun with them for a limited time. What do you think of them? Casual glam or just too casual (aka gym pants)?

My New Favorite Lip Color

I love lipstick, of any kind, especially during this chilly season when my lips are so white you’d think I was dead.

So I am incredibly happy to announce this new amazing lip pencil by CoverGirl. It is the jumbo gloss balm from the Queen collection. I got the Disco Punch shade and I’m in love.

It is large like a crayon, so it is super easy to apply, but it is glossy, so it gives you just the most perfect translucent natural color. It also stays on even after eating.

AND to top it all off, it’s less than $10!

Noonday Collection

This week I had the opportunity to attend a Noonday Collection trunk show at the lovely Nicole’s house (check out her awesome blog here). I didn’t know anything about the company before, but I am overwhelmed at the amazing impact they make on the world and poverty. Here are some facts that stood out to me:

-Noonday hires artisans from all over the world to make their products.

-Because of this partnership, the artisans are paid a “living wage” (enough to support their families, pay for education, healthcare, etc.).

-Purchasing this jewelry empowers people and their communities and allows them to create business opportunities.

-Noonday supports adoption and orphan care and if you are in the process of adopting and host a trunk show, 10% of your show sales will go towards your adoption.

Plus their jewelry is GORGEOUS! Here are some of the things I got to try on:

I loved the gold earrings I’m wearing in that picture of me, plus there are so many other items in their catalog that are calling my name. Check out their website and all their products here.

I plan on hosting a trunk show this coming December, so let me know if you’d be interested in coming.
