My Spring Break started today and I’m going a little crazy. I’ve made a “to-do” list of things that I want to get done this week.

-organize cabinets in garage

-have garage sale

-clean refrigerator

-hang pictures in hallway (reason numero uno for the giant mess in the garage, so I should probably do this first)

-organize spices

-go to Hobby Lobby (never been before…who’s with me?!)

-take shoes to cobbler

-mend clothes (finished half of this task already…boom)

-go to Dunkin Donuts (I know this might not seem like a big deal to some of you, but we don’t have any here in CA and the only one we DO have is on the military base, so I’m scheming up a reason that they would let me in so that I can get my precious Munchkins.)

Every time I go on break, I try to be the most productive person I can be and make it the most exciting vacation I could have. All this to say, I become sort of a freak and have a panic attack with each passing day that my blessed vacation is almost over. So if I look a little crazed in this week’s posts, you know what’s up. 😉

For The Love Of A Skirt

Posted on

I don’t always follow trends, but when it comes to the craze about midi/maxi skirts, I’ve fallen in love.

And I fell hard.

They are so absolutely flowy and feminine.

And they cover all the spots we want covered making them ultra flattering.

Here are some photos for inspiration…or just to make you drool.

Ridiculously pretty.

If it wasn’t weird, I would say gray is my favorite color.

The always amazing Lauren Conrad. Will someone convince her to be my friend?

So, now that I have passed the obsession on to you, go buy one.

And tell me where you found yours because these skirts are crazy elusive in stores.

Go figure.

Growing Up And The Importance Of Helmets

Posted on

Growing up astounds me. It seems as if you reach a point where you plateau. Where you mentally stay a certain age.

I am 31, but I still feel like I am 26. I look at my life and am completely floored that I have been married for almost 6 years and have 2 kids?! What the WHAT?! When did that happen? Why is life going so fast?!

And also, to confirm my adultness, I feel this great need to yell at kids, who are riding bikes, to wear a helmet. Don’t they know how important their little brains are?!

Yep, I’m a full-blown, rule-screaming grown up.

Ugh.

And please excuse the wrinkled skirt. I guess I’m not a full-blown ironing grown-up. 😉
